Enemies of Jesus Christ: George Bush and Barrack Obama

The Apostle Paul:

Philippians 3:17-19 (King James Version)
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

It is clear, the Apostle is speaking of persons who declare themselves Christians, not unbelievers. These wolves in sheep's clothing Jesus spoke about; deceivers, by their words and deeds do they contradict the Word of God, worshipping the God of their belly. Both, George Bush and Barrack Obama have made comments that contradict the plain teaching of Scripture that born again high-schoolers could recognize.

Bush claims "all religions lead to God" showing how foolish he really is, or, rather, how immature, and neglectful, Dobson and the church has become for believing him. A buddhist does not worship Jesus Christ. Not only is Bush's comment a violation of the First Commandment, and every word of Scripture, but, shows what George Bush actually is; a polytheist, believing in many gods to provide salvation.

All of Scripture and the Apostle Paul are clear on the issue:

1 Timothy 2:5 (King James Version)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Not only does George Bush's words condemn him, his actions do the same. Bush is a pro-homosexual, supporting civil unions, proving himself, and his wife are abominations according to Solomon in Proverbs 17:15:

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

George Bush, and his wife are an abomination to God! Bush, with his wife by his side, has appointed more homosexual judges to Federal Office than anyone in history. The Words of Our Creator Jesus Christ through Solomon:

Proverbs 29:27
An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

George Bush has also funded more murders by abortion than any other man in history! Bush has signed every health service bill put on his desk, funding the satanic Planned Parenthood millions of dollars. What a deluded hypocrite this man is, to prohibit funding for stem cell research, and funding abortions at the same time. What a poor example of a man, as well as a witness.

Barack Obama, a man who claims to be a Christian, yet, is a wicked man, affirming and supporting homosexuality, and supporting murder by abortion with no restrictions. It would not surprise me in the least if this hypocrite supports partial birth abortion! Barack Obama, heed to the Word of God, and repent:

Judges 13:5 (King James Version)
For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

Notice, conceiving is part of the birth of a son. Jesus Christ affirms the entire Old Testament:

Matthew 5:17-18 (King James Version)
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

When Jesus read the scriptures in the Temple, the book of Judges was a part of the prophets.

Jesus, again, confirming the Old Testament order:

Luke 11:51 (King James Version)
From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

Can a Christian; a man indwelt by the Spirit of God(Christ in you), believe, and support abominable vices that the Spirit of God has condemned in His Word, without a conviction of right and wrong by that man? God forbid!

Repent, ye workers of iniquity, ye enemies of our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ!

Aaaaaahhh. Could you be any more ridiculous! It is crap like this that makes people see Envangelical psychos as moronic!>

At least someone responded. I doubt you've ever visited this site before, if you have, please point out where I am wrong? The information on this site may be crap to you, but I believe it is truth, and the evidence is on my side. So, indulge me, where am I wrong?

Anonymous said...

The evidence is on YOUR side? Where in the world do you make that conclusion? Let me guess...you also believe in the talking snake in the Garden of Eden, that the entire planet was flooded during the days of Noah and that Dinosaurs acutally only lived a few thousand years ago. You probably think that the Flintstones is a documentary.

Religion = ridiculous!

Our Founding Truth said...

The evidence is on YOUR side? Where in the world do you make that conclusion?>

It is clear your issue is with the One who died for you, loves you, and wants to have a relationship with you, Jesus Christ. Jesus affirmed the ENTIRE Bible. Here is the Gospel, "that God came to earth in the form of man, to show what God likes, dislikes, etc. died on a cross(voluntary, showing he can pay the penalty of sin himself, by what His own Justice requires) for the sins of the world, rose from the dead on the third day, that WHOSOEVER believes(trusts) in Him, will have eternal life.

God preserved His words in the Bible, not man, man was the instrument by which it was accomplished.

The Bible is secure in it's transmission, from the Apostles, to the early church fathers, as well as from History, archeology, geology, etc.

As to your claim about talking snakes, history refutes you!

We have Egyptian pictures, and writings of snakes with legs, affirming Gen 3:14, "upon thy belly shalt thou go"

Like I said earlier, your entire problem is with Jesus, since he affirmed the Bible. Would Jesus lie to you? You know His character, He helped anyone who had a need, He is the most compassionate person that ever lived.
As to Archeology and the Bible, cont.

Our Founding Truth said...

The Smithsonian Department of Anthropology has this to say about the Bible.
“Much of the Bible, in particular the historical books of the old testament, are as accurate historical documents as any that we have from antiquity and are in fact more accurate than many of the Egyptian, Mesopotamian, or Greek histories. These Biblical records can be and are used as are other ancient documents in archeological work. For the most part, historical events described took place and the peoples cited really existed. This is not to say that names of all peoples and places mentioned can be identified today, or that every event as reported in the historical books happened exactly as stated.”
R.D. Wilson who wrote “A Scientific Investigation of the Old Testament” pointed out that the names of 29 Kings from ten nations (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon and more) are mentioned not only in the Bible but are also found on monuments of their own time. Every single name is transliterated in the Old Testament exactly as it appears on the archaeological artifact – syllable for syllable, consonant for consonant. The chronological order of the kings is correct.”

Here are a few biblical events that are supported by non-biblical references.
Campaign into Israel by Pharaoh Shishak (1 Kings 14:25-26), recorded on the walls of the Temple of Amun in Thebes, Egypt.
Revolt of Moab against Israel (2 Kings 1:1; 3:4-27), recorded on the Mesha Inscription.
Fall of Samaria (2 Kings 17:3-6, 24; 18:9-11) to Sargon II, king of Assyria, as recorded on his palace walls.
Defeat of Ashdod by Sargon II (Isaiah 20:1), as recorded on his palace walls.
Campaign of the Assyrian king Sennacherib against Judah (2 Kings 18:13-16), as recorded on the Taylor Prism.
Siege of Lachish by Sennacherib (2 Kings 18:14, 17), as recorded on the Lachish reliefs.
Assassination of Sennacherib by his own sons (2 Kings 19:37), as recorded in the annals of his son Esarhaddon.
Fall of Nineveh as predicted by the prophets Nahum and Zephaniah (2:13-15), recorded on the Tablet of Nabopolasar.
Fall of Jerusalem to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon (2 Kings 24:10-14), as recorded in the Babylonian Chronicles.
Captivity of Jehoiachin, king of Judah, in Babylon (2 Kings 24:15-16), as recorded on the Babylonian Ration Records.
Fall of Babylon to the Medes and Persians (Daniel 5:30-31), as recorded on the Cyrus Cylinder.
Freeing of captives in Babylon by Cyrus the Great (Ezra 1:1-4; 6:3-4), as recorded on the Cyrus Cylinder.
The existence of Jesus Christ as recorded by Josephus, Suetonius, Thallus, Pliny the Younger, the Talmud, and Lucian.
Forcing Jews to leave Rome during the reign of Claudius (A.D. 41-54) (Acts 18:2), as recorded by Suetonius.

So, not to interfere with your "heated" debate, OFT, but I wanted to invite you to check out our newest blog (American Creation). Besides, we have missed you over at the American Revolution Blog.

Sorry, but I am not seeing anywhere on your blog where you successfully debunk Gary Nash.

Our Founding Truth said...

Brad,

If you look at my post "Political Liberty is in the Bible" you will see enlightenment philosophy had NOTHING to do with our founding. The framers influences were from the reformation, including Locke.

The philosophers of the enlightenment the framers took ideas from were Christians: Montesquieu, Blackstone, etc. not rationalists.

Even math, science, etc. were promoted by Christians: Kepler, Galileo, Pascal, Brahms, etc.

Enlightenment is rationalism correct? A denial of the supernatural. Only Jefferson, and maybe Franklin, and Dearborn believed that.

If you keep looking at my past blogs you will also see Republicanism, rule by Law(the ten commandments) is biblical, majority rule is secondary.

Anonymous, you betray your own lack of real understanding by just standing around yelling insults, rather than facing the issue squarely, and using any evidence.

You also betray your lack of interest in the truth. You spout empty mockery, without even bothering to defend your own beliefs. That is usually the behavior of someone who is either an egotistic bigot, or someone who doesn't want to be shocked into reality.

If you're so confident that the Bible is wrong, than why don't you just do some research to prove it? Do you REALLY think that mockery and deriding will convince anyone?

Hercules Mulligan said...

Hi OFT. I hope you and your family are well. I think you are right in your assessment of Bush and Obama. When it comes right down to it, we voters really aren't being given much of a choice anymore; we just pick the lesser of two (or more) evils. I've been encouraged by Ron Paul's campaign, though. Even though he has withdrawn from this year's race, I intend either to write him in, or not vote at all. You no doubt share my reasons.

I also wanted to let you know that I have tagged you, and given you a little award! I hope to see you drop by at your earliest convenience. My blogs are rather lonesome without your input. :) I am trying to update them while I have a little more lax in my schedule.

I will also try to get to your blog and study your posts. I love the primary sources you present. They are invaluable.

God bless you and yours,

Herc,

You're going to flip on the stuff I found for my book on top of the stuff on Hamilton. It's going to be great! I honestly don't think any Hamilton scholar has proclaimed what I've found. They are legitimate quotes.

I even found a quote on Madison that seals the deal on his Christianity more so than on Hamilton. I don't believe any Madison scholar has found this one. I had missed it for the last two years until last week. It's beautiful.

It's like one of those psych tests you take, giving obvious answers but you're way off. That's what this Madison quote is, it's hard to catch. I wonder what all the Madison scholars are going to say, honestly, this could change the way academia looks at Madison. My wife is right here, and I just told her it could be that God is giving me these quotes. I don't know why I'm finding this stuff.

Thanks for the nice words Herc. May the Lord Bless you and yours to overflowing Blessings.

I can't vote for any of those guys.

I honestly haven't been following Ron Paul either.

Hercules Mulligan said...

Hi OFT. I am very excited about your findings; I too have made some eye-popping discoveries, and hope to release a book or two myself, soon.

Sometime I would like to post a little bit about my plans for my books. But don't worry! I won't spill the beans!

I think I understand exactly what you mean when you say that God is helping you in your discoveries. I hope to write a post about this in more detail later, but I think that there is something that God wants to get across to Americans, particularly us Christians, through our own history. Right now, I am at a loss for words how to explain. But hopefully my future blog post will explain that.

I think I know exactly what you mean when you talk about voting. I have been thinking about writing-in Ron Paul, if it came right down to it.

As to what Jon said ... I don't know 100% how accurate it is; I haven't been that closely following Ron Paul. But I have been listening to some of his speeches and interviews.

While I don't think that Paul is 100% correct on how the government should (or shouldn't) relate to the practice of h---------y, yet I am a little surprised that homos would back him. First of all, he doesn't believe it's right. Second of all, he believes that the issue of marriage should rest completely in the hands of the church, and not the government. Wouldn't that be a disappointment to them? Or maybe they think that the government is the biggest enemy in this?

The reason for my support of Ron Paul has not been that I 100% agree with every last opinion and position he holds. But by far, he is the best, and understands the situation of our country, and the solution. He has also shown himself to be the man with the most trustworthy integrity.

Oh BTW, I thought you may be interested --

I am doing a little bit of rearranging my Founders' Bookshelf blog. It will make the resources more easily accessible. Instead of having a single post with links, I am writing individual posts for each individual author, complete with a portrait, and the links to their online works. I then make lists of their names, in alphabetical order, and put the lists in the sidebar. Names with "A" and "B" have already been completed.

I also am starting a little "meme" on my Meet the Founders blog. It's called "Favorite Founder's Quote Friday." Every Friday (starting today), I write a post with one of my favorite quotes from the Founding Fathers. Anybody can do it. If you would like to (if you have the time) you can just leave a comment, telling me you would like to do it, with the link to your post, and I'll link to it on my blog.

When you have the leisure, I would be delighted to hear your thoughts.

Herc,

I wonder if you've heard Paul's interview he gave with John Lofton where I don't interpret him as saying he believes homosexuality is wrong. Perhaps that's what he believes; but it sounds like major equivocation on his part.

BTW: The person who was homosexual who recently died was literally Paul's second hand man, second in command (and Paul's affection for him might explain why he can't bring himself to outright condemn homosexuality).

I don't like talking about this on an Internet forum because the guy died semi-closted. But, given that few if any folks read OFT's blog, this is one of the safest places to discuss it publicly. I can give you his name if you email me. Or, you may be able to figure it out yourself (and yes there are many other homosexual Paul supporters and friends).

On a personal note, I find it bizarre that you wrote "h---------y" instead of "homosexuality," or "gayness."

I know you'll probably deny it but Baron Von Steuben was homosexual and when GW heard rumors about it, his position was "don't ask, don't tell."

Anyway here is Lofton interviewing Paul on homosexuality.

http://tinyurl.com/2pnbdp

I also like Paul's understanding of "child of God" which differs from yours and OFT's.

Jonathan Rowe said...

"Second of all, he believes that the issue of marriage should rest completely in the hands of the church, and not the government."

There are plenty of homosexual libertarians who believe exactly this. One of them is Vice President of the libertarian think thank, the Cato Institute (btw, you may be interested to know that I wrote the entry on George Washington in their forthcoming Encyclopedia of Libertarianism. I tried to put "theistic rationalism" in there, but the editor, Ron Hamowy, took it out). Privatize marriage and let churches decide who gets "married." Plenty of "Christian" Churches like the Unitarian-Universalists and Episcopalians would marry gays as they presently do. And plenty of the more traditional orthodox Churches would not.

"Wouldn't that be a disappointment to them? Or maybe they think that the government is the biggest enemy in this?"

Yes, many gays, like the kind who support Ron Paul, understand it's government, not private organizations, who have been their biggest enemy.

Jonathan Rowe said...

More good stuff from Paul. I agree with the following 100% and were he running for President, I'd probably vote for him (despite a few misgivings). I'm voting for Barr this election.

Finally OFT,

I don't mean to dispel your dreams, so I want. I'll just make one suggestion: Send your entire manuscript to Herc., allow him to (if he so wishes) 1) edit it, and 2) add content.

Either that or spend a few years taking evening classes at local colleges on English and Grammar (perhaps do both).

If you don't, you have no chance of making getting a publisher (other than a self-publisher) and if you got a self publisher, with all of those grammatical errors, no one will take you seriously. After Herc's edits, you still may not get a publisher, but have the potential to write a self-published book that could have a buzz in "Christian Nation" circles.

If Herc's not up to it, try MRoberts. If neither of them are, don't even bother until you have a few years of college level English courses under your belt.

Our Founding Truth said...

Hey Herc,

My buddie likes Ron Paul too, I wasn't aware of his stance on homosexuality.

I love your bookshelf blog, I use it all the time, it's a great help; especially the information on John Jay. Interestingly, I read some info that Washington offered Jay any post in the cabinet! He chose Chief Justice. Talk about respect! When you think about that, Jay should have choosen Sec. of State, little did he know that position could have been a stepping stone for President. To see Jefferson's face would have been something!

I will definitely check out Meet the Founders blog.

Finally OFT,

I don't mean to dispel your dreams, so I want. I'll just make one suggestion:>

Want? Classic. Jon, constructive criticism noted. You're right, I can't write worth a hill of beans. At least I can admit when I'm wrong, or my critics are right.

You can be assured, the "facts" in my book will be read by more than the "Christian Nation" crowd.

Anyway, don't worry, I'm taking my time with it. I have a feeling the publishers will jump at the chance with the book. To see your face after reading this Madison quote would be eventful to say the least; what is that, five, or ten years of your belief system on this guy down the tubes?

Oh well, maybe you'll find the quote before it's published. I doubt it though, no one else has.

Thanks for the comments Dan, I will check out your site. I may not write as well as Thomas Jefferson, but I haven't seen anyone refute my fundamental beliefs.

I've been doing some research on James Hutson's and his work on evangelicals in the founding era. He says there is no evidence church members of the founding era were heterodox, in fact, the people continued in their adherence to orthodoxy, and rites of the church, communion, and baptism.

To Anonymous:

1) It's actually not that hard to "self-publish" your own book, which is what I'd imagine OFT is doing; and

2) There's actually a big audience for reading rants like OFT's (the same folks who buy David Barton's books).

He does need to make sure that his rants are presented in a format with proper grammar. And that's a problem with self-published books; you don't have editors to do that for you.

I advise OFT -- I'm not trying to insult him for bad grammar, but constructively criticize -- to work on it by taking college English classes. AND before he self publishes his book, send the manuscript to his friends who write better, like Mr. Atkinson, to clean it up of errors.

[They might not want to do the work though.]

If that is done, it's possible that many of WorldNetDaily's readers would enjoy such a "rant" book. Speaking of which make sure you check out an article published on today's WND worth reading: Dr. Gregg Frazer's.

Hercules Mulligan said...

Hi OFT. Glad to see that you look forward to improving your writing. Besides good evidence, it is a most powerful tool in communication and persuasiveness. I think you'd be amazed at the wonder of good and effective writing.

I don't think, however, that it is necessary to go the extent of college (which would include costs of tuition, travel between college and home, introduction and integration with the system, etc. etc.), simply to learn how to write well. It may have some benefits, but please don't think that you MUST go that far just to learn how to write. What is best for you is a matter of your own judgment in this matter.

If I may throw in my own two cents, I have never been to college, but I can write with considerable ease and clarity. However, I am always looking for ways to improve my writing and broaden my vocabulary.

One book that I found particularly helpful in my schooling was the "Handbook of Grammar and Composition," published by ABeka Books, a publishing company that is a part of a Christian college in Pensacola, Florida. This Handbook is meant for 11 through 12th graders, and contains two parts: one on grammar, and the other on composition (essays, outlines, paraphrases, expositions, etc.). It gave me both confidence and enjoyment in my writing. But no book or formula will work without 1)discipline, 2)constant application, and 3) a sincere love of writing.

From what I have heard and read, the excellence of the ABeka Curriculum is so good, even non-Christian homeschoolers give it a two-thumbs up. Maybe you won't be able to brag to others and say, "I went to college and learned to write," but it will nevertheless give you the tools sufficient, without having to spend big bucks.

Anyway, this is just my own two cents. I throw them in, so that you won't be overwhelmed. Learning to write is easy; you just need to have the write tools and the desire to learn and apply yourself. I think you can do it!

God bless you.

Your friend,
H. M.

P. S. Maybe I will end with a little quote from Col. Timothy Pickering, friend of Hamilton and Washington:

"When I first became acquainted with the General (in 1777), his writing was defective in grammar, and even in spelling, owing to the insufficiency of his early education; of which, however, he gradually got the better in the subsequent years of his life, by the official perusal of some excellent models, particularly those of Hamilton; by writing with care and patient attention; and reading numerous, indeed multitudes of, letters to and from his friends and correspondents. This obvious improvement began during the war ..." The Life of Timothy Pickering, by Octavius Pickering and Charles W. Upham; volume 2, page 96

Excuse me, Raven.

If you really would like to see your comments kept on the blog, than how come you only let certain people visit (and therefore only certain people comment) on your blog? Why don't you just open access to your blog, so that the one who runs this blog can return your insults with his, just to be fair and all??? (Who is the hypocrite, now?)

But maybe you can tell that I am being slightly sarcastic. OFT would not do that (and neither would I) because we are Christians, and the Bible tells us not to return insult for insult, even if those insults are hurled at us unjustly (as in this case).

So what happens? You get to comment on a blog that you probably don't even read with an objective mind, and you get to spew empty insults, without proving a word you say, and OFT gets to ignore them and remove them (since they have no content, what is the use of keeping them up?).

I know that I do not run this blog. But seeing your hypocrisy and arrogance can be quite disturbing. Maybe no one bothered to tell you before.

Again I find myself giving OFT "advice." Re your book that perhaps you will be able to get "self published" (good luck getting it distributed and read) it need not "interfere" with your regular blogging.

What many writers DO when they simultaneously work on books and blog is take little excerpts of the book (between 800-1500 words) and post them as individual blog posts. [A number of profs, I have seen, first write a series of articles with a common theme and then use them as a baseline for a larger book.] It could be a very useful way to get feedback on your work in progress.

So how was it that these notable Founders came to reject their churches' officially orthodox doctrines? They were influenced by heretical unitarian theologians, many of whom were ministers of Christian Churches, and whose ideas powerfully influenced the late 18th century Whig-republican zeitgeist. Richard Price and Joseph Priestley were the two most notable British Whig unitarian theologians and contemporaries of America's Founders. On the American side, Jonathan Mayhew and Charles Chauncy are notable examples. And from the early "Whig" era in Britain, John Locke, Samuel Clarke, and Isaac Newton were at least purportedly closeted unitarian heretic theologians. Given the latter three faced execution (like Michael Servetus) for "coming out" they left fewer "smoking guns" to prove their unitarianism (and it was officially a crime to publicly deny the Trinity in Great Britain until 1813). But unitarians from the mid 18th century onward claimed Clarke, Locke, and Newton, and for good reason.

The post will show Washington's and Hamilton's interest in Price's work during the key year 1788.

Jesus wants to forgive me??? Now you are assuming that I need forgiveness simply because I disagree with you.

This is why Evangelical Christianity is arrogant.

Raven, you need forgiveness because you are a sinner like me.

Hi OFT. Haven't seen you around in a while. How are you? How are things going on in your life? Do you plan to keep up the blog?

I know you're very busy with your book, but I hope that maybe you could take a little time from every Friday to participate in a meme I created last month. It's called "Founding Fathers' Quote Friday." You can read all about it via the above link. Basically, post a sourced quote from one of the Founding Fathers every Friday. The quote must fit under the theme of the month. The theme for this month (September) is "liberty."

If it is more convenient for you, you can write a post, but schedule it to post on Friday morning. Blogger allows you to do that. Also, I will give you a heads-up the first Thursday of every month about what the theme of that month will be, so that you will know the day before your post is up.

If you have any questions, feel free to look me up, and I will respond as quickly as I am able.

I hope that you will have time to join this great meme. Three bloggers besides myself are already participating, so our group is small, but our findings are fantastic!

Your humble servt.

To whoever wrote "Religion=Rediculous" Thank you, finally someone feels the same as me... and i think Our Founding Truth is one of those people who goes to church like everyday of the week at like five in the morning, and still has horrible crap happen to them all the time. hey buddy you're in denial of reality. Man created the evidence, right. Man lies, right. This means evidence=many many bullcrap lies.
Stop reading the bible and get a job
and if you believe in anything believe in KARMA!

I don't know who all these anonymous people are, who are bashing the author of this blog, but there are some things that you all need to consider:

If the Gospel is wrong, why are you so poor at disproving it? And do you really think that empty mockery will get you anywhere in convincing anybody? If your rudeness proves anything, it proves your own arrogance, ignorance, and bad manners. Sorry, but that's fact.

Second, hell is a real place. If you don't believe in it, than you should have solid evidence to back up your opinion. Because if it is a real place, than there are consequences: unless you are reconciled to the God who created you and established the laws of nature and laws for your conduct, when you die, you will be in hell for longer than you ever lived.

Christ does not will for anyone to go to hell. Because of the grace of God, I don't want you to go to hell either, no matter what rude things you would do or say to me or anyone else.

I suggest you read the Bible, with an clear and open mind. If it is false, you have nothing to fear. If it is true, however, you have every reason to be concerned for your soul.

"[S]coffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.' For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

"Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation ..."

ey Herc,

I've been a little under the weather, sorry about the late response to your comment, but I will try to report on your "Founding Fathers' Quote Friday."

Hi OFT. Glad to hear from you. Sorry you are under the weather. I have been busy and a little under it myself. But remember that God comforts us in all our troubles (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-7).

I am always happy to hear from you. I hope you will be able to participate in FFQF. The theme for October (next Friday is Oct. 3) is "virtue." Don't worry, the theme of "liberty" will no doubt be repeated.

Until we talk again,

God bless you and your family.

As a college Bible Student I can tell you this. The Author of this blog is correct ! A fool cannot see the truth.
Proverb 1:7 says Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The Apostle Paul wrote:
1Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.
You fall into the category of fools.
That man loves you enough as a Christian to try and warn you of the evil that surrounds you and you sco0ff at him. I'm proud to be an Evangelical and I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray for you because Satan has a grip on your soul.
