David Barton On The Glenn Beck Show

David Barton makes an appearance on the Glenn Beck Show. Glenn Beck has been under some heat from the Christian Left, especially Jim Wallis, for attacking the "Social Justice" aspect of the Gospel. Wallis and the left, claim the Bible mandates big government should help the poor, any way it can, and that Jesus wanted it that way.

Whether Wallis is a Christian at all, I will leave for another day, however, I don't recall Jesus ever claiming the government should help the poor. Beck, along with Barton, believe the New Testament leaves that duty to the Church, and individuals. And so, the Christian left is calling a boycott of The Glenn Beck Show.

The question is, "Does the Bible present the Church or Israel supporting the poor in a government context?"

You do realize that Beck is one of those Mormons you claim to hate so much, right?

Dumbass!

Pretty obvious. I've read plenty of what you had to say on Mormons. And how you knocked Mormons at other blogs.

I didn't knock Mormons. I knocked their founder and his theology. I based it on both Joseph Smith's mom and dad's written testimony, that their son was into the occult.

So you knock Mormons.

Our Founding Truth said...

No. I knock their theology, and their founder.

So you knock Mormons. Moron, if you knock the THEOLOGY and the FOUNDER you are knocking the religion.

Sort of like when I say Evangelicals are a bunch of retards because of their theology.

Believe it or not, you are knocking Jesus, because he is the founder of Christian Theology.

When Christians sin and do bad things, we should be rebuked, and hopefully forgiven, like you would forgive anyone else.

It sounds like you are attacking Jesus for the sins of men. Jesus (His Theology) has nothing to do with it.

I have friends that are Mormons; I don't attack them. They understand the problems with their religion.

Kinda funny how everybody jumps when a Christian criticizes another belief system, but everyone cheers when Christians are made the object of scorn and indecency.

Isn't the world just full of love and tolerance for everyone? (sarcasm)
